Jam making time is amongst us

Turn your jam jars into professional looking gifts simply by
adding a label and a brown paper or fabric cover.

Check out DIY Freebies page for the instructions
for the transformations of the jars and click on the
links for the recipes that I used here.

RECIPES:

Strawberry Jam Recipe

The first time I made this Strawberry Jam Recipe I added both the
lemon juice and zest. It gives the jam a zesty, lemony bite.

The second time I omitted these.
Both batches were great. You can make either way to suit your taste.

Zucchini & Capsicum Relish

To say that this recipe is so easy is really an understatement.
I made this relish for a local fair for a community group I belong to.
A group of us make Chutneys, Jams and Relish that we sell as a fundraiser.
Everyone that tried the relish wanted the recipe, even the seasoned jammers. I was stopped at the local shops and asked for it by one lovely lady.

The Zucchini and Capsicum Relish is  great to have refrigerated on crackers
on a warm day for a snack. I bet you won't stop and just a few crackers and relish.
